Job Position: Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist
Location: Remote – Texas, US
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 USD + variable incentives

About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of enterprise solutions across consumer-driven industries, is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist to join their growing security team. This is a full-time, remote role open exclusively to U.S. citizens.

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures across multi-cloud environments, safeguarding digital infrastructure, and supporting secure product development and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents with effective root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Collaborate across DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to integrate security best practices into workflows.
  • Enforce security policies, procedures, and standards in line with compliance frameworks.
  • Stay up to date on the latest threats, tools, and cybersecurity developments.
  • Deliver internal security awareness and training sessions.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and simulations.
  • Support client inquiries and third-party security assessments or audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role with a focus on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-native security architectures.
  • Working knowledge of compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Preferred tools: Exabeam, Crowdstrike EDR, and other major cloud provider security solutions.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Compensation & Additional Information

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 USD (plus potential performance-based variable incentives)
Final compensation is determined by location, experience, skills, and role fit.
